Thank you for visiting my glass studio. I am Judit Sz\u0151ke, a glass artist. I make glass jewelry with Murano glass since 2010. I use and teach many glass forming techniques, but my favorite is the lampwork technique. I melt Murano glass rods on the flame of a glass torch and make jewelry and other unique pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My studio is located in the heart of Sopron, in the Lenck passage, in a beautiful 150-year-old building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can buy glass items in my studio or you can participate in a workshop to learn how to make them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2021 after an extensive renovation the studio was expanded inside and out with modern technical equipment in order to be able to hold high-level workshops. There are three fixed gas torch stations in the studio so that those interested can work in small groups to learn the secrets of glass forming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I teach various techniques in small groups (3-5 people). Beginner classes guide you through the process of creating your first bead and in advanced classes you can learn more involved techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyone who wants to make a glass jewelry needs some dexterity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participation in an advanced workshop requires already having sufficient experience in making glass jewelry. Therefore, if you did not study with me, I ask you to send photos of your previous glass work. I need see if you have practice for the given technique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Workshops take about 2-5 hours depending on the technique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The language of the workshop can be Hungarian, German or English. English and German workshop can be booked only by 3 persons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
